Guest Blogger Interview - Jen Pabst from Healthy Food and Family

I had the wonderful opportunity to do a short and sweet interview with Jen from Healthy Food and Family. What an amazing girl and such a motivator. I love how she took a negative experience in her life and turned it around into a positive. We could all learn a little something from her. Please go check her out and send her some loves {comments}. I know she would love to hear from you!

Here is her interview:

1. How did you start your business or blog?
A few years ago I started reading healthy living blogs and fell in love. I have been writing my own for about 2 years now (www.healthyfoodandfamily.blogspot.com) My business is coaching with Beachbody. I have been doing that since May 2012 and I'm currently an Emerald level coach.

2. What keeps you motivated?
I'm currently 40 pounds down and it seems so strange to me that other people find me motivating when I still look to so many people for motivation and inspiration! My biggest motivator is not wanting to go back to where I was 5 months ago. I was not happy with the way my life was going and my doctor told me that my family was going to be burying me next. We are still grieving the death of my Dad and I did not want to put my family through that again.

3. What is your favorite form of exercise and why?
I love, love, love Turbo Fire and ChaLEAN Extreme. The Turbo Fire cardio workouts are some of the toughest workouts I have ever done, but they are SO much fun, I don't want to stop! ChaLEAN Extreme makes me feel totally hardcore lifting weights and doing push ups {something I NEVER thought I would enjoy doing!}

4. What is some advice you would love to share with anyone?
It is NEVER, EVER too late to change your life! Even when life seems like it will never get better, just keep going. Put one foot in front of the other and stick with it.

5. Who inspires you the most?
This one is easy, my Mom. She has kept our family together for the past 2.5 years when our world shattered. We all may have lost our Dad, but she lost her best friend and husband of 30 years. She is the strongest person I know and I am so proud to call her Mom.

6. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I'm really not sure there is anything I would change. I'm constantly improving my body, we've been through a lot, but not sure I would change anything. Just constant improvements.

7. What are your physique and health goals for the future?
At this point, I really don't know. I don't even have a goal weight yet. I just want to be at my absolute healthiest. Ultimately, personal training, health coaching and teaching group fitness classes are my goals.

Firstly, you need to understand and completely accept that to become fitter requires you to go beyond your physical limits..
